Incredible Health in Grand Blanc, MI is seeking an experienced PACU RN to provide post-operative care across a variety of surgeries. This role supports patient monitoring, medication administration, and smooth transitions from operating room to discharge, while educating patients and families on care plans.

Ideal candidates have ADN or higher, an active RN license, and 1 year in PACU/ICU or similar settings, with BLS/ACLS certifications and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year of PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care and monitor vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and follow treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and teams for patient transitions.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Salary: $61,860 to $111,200 /year
