Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring PACU RNs in Delray Beach, FL to provide immediate post‑operative care across surgical specialties. Day shift options exist, with full‑time, part‑time and per diem roles.

You’ll work with surgeons and anesthesia teams to monitor patients, administer meds, educate families, and document care in the EMR. Requires ADN or higher, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing required or preferred
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license required
• 1 year experience in PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to surgical patients, monitor vitals and anesthesia-related symptoms
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for seamless patient transition from OR to PACU to discharge
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac Monitoring, Circulate, Pediatric, Presurgical assessment, Robotic surgery, Transplant, or Wound & drain care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
