Job summary

Incredible Health in Westwood, NJ is hiring a PACU RN to provide postoperative care, monitor vitals, administer medications, and support patient flow from operating room to discharge.

The ideal candidate holds ADN or higher, an active RN license, 1 year PACU/ICU experience, BLS/ACLS, strong communication and EMR skills; day shift; full- or part-time; benefits include health coverage, 401K, PTO, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing is required
• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity setting experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work in a team
• Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitor vital signs, and manage anesthesia-related symptoms.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure smooth transitions from operating room to PACU and discharge.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, including pain management and wound care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Salary: $73,450 to $127,500 /year
