Qualifications

• Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Basic EKG competency within 3 months of hire for Medical Surgical Units.
• PALS, ACLS, NRP certifications required within specified timelines per unit.
• Minimum five years RN experience preferred for weekend/evening/night shifts in certain units.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to prevent healthcare conditions and readmissions.
• Perform nursing assessments and collect pertinent data from patient and care team.
• Formulate a care plan with patient involvement and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Deliver care in alignment with patient safety standards and hospital policies.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise plans as needed; provide clinical leadership within unit.
