UMC Health System in Lubbock, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to support surgical and cardiac patients recovering from anesthesia.

The role requires BSN, Texas RN licensure or an eligible compact license, and ongoing certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. PACU or ICU experience is preferred, with a focus on safe, individualized patient care and effective teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license or eligible Compact license.
• BSN degree required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care for surgical and cardiac patients.
• Assess, implement, delegate, plan and evaluate total nursing care; coordinate with shifts.
