Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, FL. This full-time position requires delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced PACU setting, with day shifts and occasional on-call duties.

The RN will lead with clinical excellence and collaborate with the care team. Qualifications include a nursing degree (Associates or BSN preferred), active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 2 years of RN experience

Qualifications

• 2 years RN experience required.
• 1 year RN experience in PACU, critical care and/or emergency preferred.
• BLS Certification required; RN license required.
• ACLS Certification required; Nurse Specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Provide personal care and supervision to pediatric patients as applicable.
• Serve as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
