Job summary

AdventHealth Tarpon Springs in Florida is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the PACU team. You will deliver direct patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations, monitor post-operative conditions, and communicate with caregivers to ensure a seamless recovery process.

This part-time position requires RN licensure with BLS/ACLS and 1+ year experience in critical care or PACU; strong emphasis on documentation and infection control is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• 1+ years of critical care acute hospital experience preferred.
• 1+ years post anesthesia experience preferred.
• 1+ years experience as a RN in PACU or critical care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in direct patient care across age groups, analyzing patient information to assess and reassess care plans.
• Interprets changes in post-operative conditions and communicates with caregivers for continuity of care.
• Manages and interprets patient monitoring devices in PACU and documents using the nursing process.
• Contributes to unit goals, policy reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintains infection control measures and keeps the patient environment safe.
