Jackson North Medical Center in North Miami Beach is seeking a PRN Clinical Staff Nurse for PACU/Recovery. Per Diem shifts run 8:00am to 4:30pm; ICU and Endoscopy experience is a plus. Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS per unit are required upon hire with ongoing maintenance.

The role emphasizes nursing process, critical thinking and patient teaching, with coordination of care in collaboration with physicians and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Florida RN license required; BLS and ACLS per unit.
• 1–3 years of related nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates patient care with physicians and staff.
• Documents nursing care, care plans, and observations.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and coordinates discharge/teaching.
• Assumes charge nurse role when assigned and mentors staff.
• Performs rounds to ensure continuity of care.
