Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• 1-2 years of acute care experience in ICU, ED, PACU or a Cardiovascular ICU/Telemetry unit, preferred
• Active, unencumbered RN license, required
• BLS, required
• ACLS, required
• PALS, required

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled care to patients before and after surgical and interventional procedures
• Safely administer medications, infusions, and blood products per orders
• Coordinate with surgeons, interventionalists, anesthesiologists and families
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend/holiday shifts

Strong critical thinking skills

Advanced EKG interpretation

Competency with vascular closurefiles

Education

Associates or better in Nursing.
