Job summary

Palm Beach International Surgery Center - Paley Institute is hiring a Pre OP PACU RN for a full-time role in West Palm Beach, FL. The PACU RN provides continuous, high-quality nursing care as patients recover from general anesthesia or sedation, with careful assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

You will assist physicians in procedure rooms, apply sterile technique, monitor sedation, ensure patient safety and comfort, and help with discharge readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by center.
• 2 years PACU or CC nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for PACU patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient recovery from anesthesia.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks and conscious sedation.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort and privacy; prepare for discharge.
