Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU unit. You will work four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with on-call nights and weekends, and provide leadership in a professional practice setting within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications include PA RN licensure, CPR certification, and background clearances; PACU experience or certification is preferred. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and mentor staff while maintaining patient safety

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC) required.
• PACU nursing certification or PACU experience preferred.
• CPR certification and background checks required (Act 34/33/73 FBI).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in a professional nursing practice setting.
• Assign, delegate and supervise tasks for RNs, LPNs and support staff.
• Assess patient condition, plan and implement care with the team.
• Participate in safety, quality initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with physicians.
