Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking a registered nurse to contribute to high-quality patient care within our unit. The role involves direct patient care, planning, and execution of care plans in alignment with established standards and policies.

Responsibilities include delivering medications, managing pain, and educating patients and families. Candidates should be a Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Maryland RN licensure, and BSN within 5 years where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Adherence to the credentialing requirements of Luminis Health as stated in the nursing bylaws.
• Where applicable, completion of a BSN is required within 5 years of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients and families in a culturally, developmentally and ethically appropriate manner.
• Develops and individualizes a plan of care for each patient in accordance with established standards.
• Efficiently implements the patient’s plan of care and evaluates outcomes.
• Demonstrates proficiency in medication administration and pain management.
• Participates in unit governance and education of new staff.
