Job summary

Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies seeks a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager to lead shift operations in the PACU, ensuring high-quality care and efficient patient flow. You will work with Nursing Operations leadership to guide assignments, monitor acuity, and optimize outcomes.

Minimum one year RN experience in Pre-op or PACU is required, with a Florida RN license (or NLC) and BLS certification. A BSN is preferred to support professional development.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred for role, BSN not required.
• Current Florida RN license or NLC is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of one year RN experience in Pre-op or PACU.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and patient care assignments in PACU.
• Coordinate patient flow with Administrative Supervisors and Care Coordinators.
• Monitor patient status and respond to urgent needs for seriously ill patients.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, policies, and standards of practice.
• Support frontline team members and participate in safety initiatives.
• Assist with staffing, equipment, and resource management.
