Lee Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the PACU team at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL. The PACU RN will monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia and surgery, delivering expert assessment and compassionate care in collaboration with anesthesia and perioperative teams.

The role requires two years of critical care experience (PACU or ICU), Florida licensure, and current BLS (ACLS where required).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
• At least two years of critical care experience (PACU or ICU).
• BLS certification current; ACLS if required by department.
• Licensed in the State of Florida.
• Communication, interpersonal and basic computer skills required.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery in PACU.
• Monitor and assess patients postoperatively with close observation.
• Document nursing assessments, plans, interventions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical and perioperative teams.
• Deliver nursing care per established standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
