Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency seeks an on-call perioperative nurse to provide immediate post-operative care for surgical patients, ensuring safe, evidence-based management and rapid response to complications.

You will deliver postoperative support, monitor vital signs, perform wound care, educate families, and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to coordinate care and outcomes.

• Deliver post-operative support, including airway management assistance, cardiac and neurological monitoring, and vigilant assessment of patient condition.
• Perform wound care and manage post-surgical site observations, documenting findings accurately.
• Recognize, respond to, and help coordinate care for complications, escalating concerns appropriately.
• Assess and document patient status, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with clinical standards.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and follow-up instructions.
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support safe outcomes.
