Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a registered nurse for the night shift in Exeter, NH. Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, you will provide professional nursing care and coordinate care planning.

Requirements include NH RN license, BCLS; ACLS preferred within 1 year. The role offers a 24-hour/week schedule, competitive pay, and benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• RN license – NH state or compact state.
• BCLS certification (within 30 days of hire).
• ACLS certification (within 1 year of hire).

Responsibilities

• Practice Standards – Adheres to hospital policies and ANA standards; ensures safe medication and IV administration.
• Mentoring/Teaching – Precepts new employees and contributes to education.
• Delegation – Assigns tasks appropriately and monitors staff utilization.
• Assessment – Performs physical assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.
• Prioritization/Organization – Prioritizes care, manages assignment, and seeks help when needed.
• Planning/Implementation – Communicates hand-offs and plans care with the team.
• Evaluation – Reviews outcomes and adjusts the care plan.
• Patient/Family Education – Documents education and develops learning materials.
• Professional Growth – Pursues education to advance clinical skills.
