Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse Level I to deliver nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting. The role emphasizes using the nursing process, independent judgment, and growth/development across the life span.

The RN will modify care plans based on data, apply evidence-based practice, delegate appropriately, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure quality outcomes. This role supports CAPE advancement and shift accountability.

Qualifications

• Current RN license issued by the state or eNLC multi-state license.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of RN experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient plans of care based on data and individual needs.
