Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care and organize delivery of quality care for assigned patients.
• Educate patients and families about illness and treatment including preventive measures.
• Collaborate with health care team to coordinate care across the continuum.
• Lead and mentor colleagues, demonstrate professional behavior and adherence to nursing policies.
• Participate in department quality improvement activities and mandatory education.
