Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct and indirect nursing care under RN supervision. You will perform essential patient care tasks, support nursing staff, and contribute to a patient-centered mission in a hospital setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be graduates of a CNA program, and hold a state-registered CNA license; six months of CNA or healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program.
• State registered CNA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, safety steps, and nutrition/elimination support.
• Responds promptly to call lights and communicates patient status changes to the RN.
• Documents vital signs, intake/output, nutrition, and personal care; maintains patient charts.
• Assists with delegated patient care tasks under RN supervision.
• Delivers person-centered care with respect and teamwork.
• Raises concerns about hazards or errors to the health care team.
