Ochsner Health in New Orleans, LA seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care under licensed nurse supervision. You will assist with plans of care, maintain a safe environment, document care tasks, and communicate needs across the care team.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma and hospital telemetry exposure, plus CNA certification and BLS/CPI within 30 days of hire. This on-site role offers cross-disciplinary collaboration with a caring, compliant team.

Qualificações

• Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and on-call.
• CNA certification and ongoing compliance with requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the plan of care as delegated by staff nurse within scope of skills verification.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment in the patient care area.
• Provides care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the ages of patients served in assigned areas.
• Communicates patient care needs effectively with patients, families, and other staff members, including multi-disciplinary teams.
• Completes documentation of patient related tasks.
• Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including privacy, introductions, and communication style.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
