Vail Health in Colorado's mountain region is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direction and supervision to staff in the PreOp/PACU unit. You will organize, coordinate, and facilitate patient care, collaborating with clinical providers and leadership to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Three years of PreOp/PACU nursing experience required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or a valid compact state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; Moderate Sedation Certification preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills and be able to access online learning and benefits systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and supervision to staff in the unit.
• Organize, coordinate, and facilitate patient care.
• Collaborate with clinicians and leadership to improve patient outcomes.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, environment of care, and nurse/patient ratios.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to staff and providers.
