Job summary

AWARE in Butte, MT is seeking a Team Psychiatric Nurse (RN) to start at $40.00 per hour. Full-time role with the PACT team serving adults, children, and families in the community.

Qualifications

• AA/BS in Nursing and Montana RN license, with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Supervisory and management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing service models and confidentiality.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with clients and families.
• Valid Montana driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Identify individual needs through in-person contact with individuals, families, guardians, and significant others.
• Explain rights to confidentiality and the limits of confidentiality.
• Explain rights as recipients of mental health services, informed consent and risks/benefits of treatment.
• Engage in case management activities: intake, assessment, service plan, linking and coordination of services.
• Assist individuals in the Individual Support Planning process and unmet needs.
• Participate in crisis intervention services with individuals.
• Provide supportive counseling or problem-solving to maintain supports.
• Complete required clinical and administrative documentation.
• Represent the agency in coordinating service plans with other providers.
• Participate in and lead interdisciplinary treatment teams as needed.
• Schedule and lead case reviews per clinical policies.
• Provide unit coverage.
