Title: PACS/RIS Implementation Engineer – Radiology IT (Diagnostic Imaging Software)

Type: 18-Month Contract

Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on Implementation Engineer with strong experience in PACS/RIS integration, radiology workflows, and clinical imaging software deployment. This is a mission-critical role supporting the rollout and troubleshooting of diagnostic imaging systems across hospital and ambulatory care environments.

If you’ve supported or implemented systems like Visage, GE, Philips, or Agfa PACS, worked with clinical EMRs, and thrive in fast-paced, patient-impacting healthcare settings — we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Deploy, configure, and validate PACS/RIS and radiology workflow systems across client environments
• Install software on on-premise servers/workstations, ensuring compliance with security and healthcare IT protocols
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier II/III software and infrastructure issues (Windows, IIS, SQL, Active Directory)
• Analyze system logs, network traffic, and performance to resolve latency or connectivity issues
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to support seamless implementation and integration
• Contribute to technical documentation, SOPs, and internal team knowledge sharing
• Participate in on-call rotations to support healthcare systems 24/7 as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years experience in PACS/RIS implementation or healthcare IT support
• Hands-on experience with at least 2+ diagnostic imaging systems (e.g., Visage, GE, Agfa, Philips)
• Experience supporting clinical environments or radiology workflows
• Strong technical knowledge of:
• Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory
• SQL (SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE)
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical and clinical stakeholders
• Experience with EMRs, clinical integration, or HL7/DICOM preferred

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with HL7, DICOM, and imaging standards
• Experience supporting Nuance or similar diagnostic imaging software
• Salesforce or other IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Astea)
• Virtual environments: VMware, Hyper-V
