Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Radiology Information Systems professional responsible for installation, testing, training and maintenance of PACS and related imaging software across multiple locations including NSH Atlanta and NSH Cherokee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field with 2 years IS experience in Healthcare or Radiology.
• Associate’s degree with 4 years Healthcare/Radiology experience as an alternative.
• Must possess excellent analytical skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of network procedures and applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for PACS and Radiology Scheduling systems.
• Install, test, train and maintain Radiology Systems (Intelerad PACS, MIM, TeraRecon, iQ-VIEW).
• Provide support for PowerScribe360, PowerShare, and syngo.via.
• Assist with system downtime planning, upgrades, and integration tasks.
• Coordinate with Radiology staff and physicians on system issues and projects.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and enforce security updates.
• Provide on-call support for radiology systems 365 days/year.
