Job summary

Salinas Valley Health is seeking a detail-oriented Imaging Administration support staff member. The role uses the PACS system to transmit and print CD images, assists patients with mobility, and helps prepare charts and consents for procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care and clinical workflow within imaging services.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred in radiology or imaging support.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 6 months of hire or transfer is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate PACS system to transmit and print/burn CD images for patients.
• Assist patients with mobility and positioning for procedures.
• Assist technologists with PACS, room cleaning, and patient prep.
• Transport patients by wheelchair, stretcher, or assistive device.
• Register/pre-register patients and pre-log for procedures.
• Enter exam orders into the computer system and manage scheduling as needed.
