Job summary

Valley Health's Angio department seeks a capable tech assistant to support patient care and clerical tasks within Medical Imaging. You will assist in retrieving and distributing PACS images, handling processing, importing and CD burning for patient care needs, and may work across multiple imaging modalities as required.

Strong communication with patients and staff is essential; prior hospital experience and BLS certification are preferred, with willingness to work varied shifts, including

Qualifications

• Competent to interact with patients across age groups.
• Proficient in Windows-based PC environments.
• Excellent communication with physicians and health care professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and clerical support in Medical Imaging.
• Retrieve, manipulate and distribute images from PACS for customers.
• Perform processing, importing and CD burning for patient care needs.
• Assist as a tech in different modalities as needed.
