Job summary

The Team Leader ensures the production schedule is completed on time and aligns with cost efficiencies while maintaining product quality. Lead packout personnel, coordinate daily activities to meet schedules and deadlines, and verify coil quantities and customer specifications before shipping.

Qualifications

• Lead and train packout team members to ensure finished products are packaged accurately, safely, and to customer specifications.
• Coordinate daily packout activities to meet production schedules and shipping deadlines.
• Verify coil identification, quantities, and customer specifications prior to packaging and shipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean & safe work environment.
• Assure the production schedule is executed in a timely & cost-effective manner.
• Promote problem solving within your team and foster employee involvement and morale.
• Oversee packaging material inventory and ensure proper tooling and supplies are maintained.
• Coordinate with Shipping, Production, Materials, Quality to move finished goods efficiently.
• Inspect packaged products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with customer and company requirements.
