Job summary

Dyno Nobel, Inc. seeks a Packout Operator in Graham, KY to package PETN and operate industrial powered equipment. You will support safety programs, follow SOPs, and train new teammates while ensuring accurate product logging and packing for transport.

The role requires a valid driver's license, manufacturing experience, ATF background checks, and ability to lift 50–60 lbs. Training shifts begin on day shift with a potential off-shift work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with 0 or minimal violations.
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check for explosives.
• Must be able to be trained in operating powered industrial trucks.
• Ability to wear and operate SCBA during HAZWOPER events.
• Must be able to work the off shift; training on day shift.
• Able to lift 50–60 pounds regularly.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and/or lead commitment to Zero Harm through safety behavior.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, objectives, and regulations.
• Perform responsibilities in production processes as directed by Shift Leader.
• Follow SOPs for all Nitration Plant positions.
• Adhere to daily housekeeping duties and assist others as needed.
• Train new team members.
• Log products according to regulatory requirements.
• Prepare products for transportation following packing standards.
• Assist maintenance and utility when required.
• Maintain safe production and cover gaps to meet schedule.

As the Packout Operator, you will beresponsible for packaging PETN. You will operate machinery including industrial powered equipment.

*Position starts at $24.57 an hour and increases upon successful completion of training (roughly 90 days)*

What You'll Do

As the Packout Operator, you will be responsible for packaging PETN. You will operate machinery including industrial powered equipment. Other duties will include:

• Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral-based safety
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives, and regulations
• Perform responsibilities in production processes as directed by Shift Leader
• Follow standard operating procedures for all Nitration Plant positions
• Adhere to the Housekeeping duties assigned to their area for that day. Assistance must be given if needed in other areas to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Train new team members
• Log products according to regulatory requirements
• Prepare products for transportation adhering to packing standards
• Assist maintenance and utility when required
• Maintain safe production and perform ad necessaryto meet production schedule and fill in when other teammates are out

What We're Looking For:

• Must have a valid drivers license with 0 or minimal violations
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing preferred
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives
• Must be able to be trained in operating powered industrial trucks
• Ability to wear, maintain and operate SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) during HAZWOPER events
• Must be able to work the off shift - training will be on day shift
• Able to lift 50 - 60 pounds regularly
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
