Dyno Nobel in Carthage, Missouri seeks a production associate to assist in set-up, filling, inspection and packaging of Cast Booster products, following site safety and quality rules. You will promote Zero Harm, support process improvements, and help ensure daily production targets are met with a focus on clean, safe operations.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in set-up, filling, inspection and packaging of Cast Booster products according to safety and quality rules.
• Lead or participate in zero-harm initiatives and safety behaviors.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company objectives.
• Support BEx initiatives and cross-area participation.
• Ensure daily processing requirements are met and waste is minimized.
• Assist with loading, pouring, and handling of materials and forklift movement.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards during production.

What You'll Do

To efficiently assist in the set-up, filling, inspection and packaging of all Cast Booster products with respect to plant and site specific safety rules and quality standards.

• Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations.
• Live and foster the IPL Corporate Values.
• Supports BEx initiatives and ensures participation from all areas of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with daily processing requirements.
• Promote implementation of industry best practices, pursue the elimination of waste and support initiatives in manufacturing.
• Responsible for quality inspections during packing procedures.
• Product pouring and handing requirements.
• Responsible for loading empty plastic canisters onto transport trays.
• Manual fork lift operation for material movements.
• Comply with applicable Housekeeping and 5S standards.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
• Ability to work constructively in a designed team environment.
• Ability to listen, understand and take technical data from others into consideration in making operational decisions.
• Ability to communicate with others effectively in both written and verbal manner.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason when dealing with emotional topics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis for issues in all of the various processes associated with manufacturing.
