Job summary

Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE) is seeking Manufacturing Associates (Packouts) to support production at our Aberdeen facility for afternoon and overnight shifts. You will assemble cartons, apply labels, and operate the packout machine while assisting quality checks and line maintenance.

Training on day shift is provided initially; occasional overtime may be required. Candidates should lift up to 40 pounds and stand 8–10 hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to stand 8-10 hours per day.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain carton blanks, form/fold cartons, staple ends, apply labels and place carton in packout machine.
• Provide visual quality checks and monitor operation of equipment.
• Analyze malfunctions and perform machine troubleshooting to correct defects.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment at all times.
• Perform safety procedures and wear PPE; ensure safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Operate overhead bridge crane for loading/unloading raw material and other hand tools (training provided).
• Participate in communication and WAVE culture.
