Job summary

Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE) seeks Manufacturing Associates (Packouts) to join the Aberdeen facility’s production team for afternoon and overnight shifts. You will assist with packout operations, carton assembly, labeling and quality checks, while supporting a Production Operator in changeovers and line maintenance to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, standing 8–10 hours, and adhering to PPE and lock-out procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent in General Studies.
• Preferred knowledge and experience of machinery in manufacturing environment.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Duties include obtaining carton blanks, form/fold cartons, staple ends, apply labels and place carton in packout machine.
• Provide visual attention in monitoring operation and quality of product.
• Must be able to analyze any malfunctions and complete machine troubleshooting procedures to correct breakdowns or product defects.
• Maintain all work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
• Perform all work in a safe manner; use proper lock-out procedures during repairs or machine adjustments. Wear required PPE and ensure safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Operate overhead bridge crane for loading/unloading of raw material, as well as other hand powered tools (training provided).
• Perform these and other related duties as assigned or directed.
• Actively participate in communication and WAVE culture.
