Job summary

Mitsubishi Films America (MFA) Greer, SC is seeking Packing/Warehouse Operators to join our production team. You will wrap, package, and transport film safely in a manufacturing environment, following established processes and procedures.

Starting pay is $19.70 per hour with progression up to $25.40, plus night and weekend differentials of $1.00 and $1.50 per hour. Benefits begin on day one, and there is an on-site medical center.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited school.
• Must pass on-the-job training including forklift and safety training.
• Able to work in a team-based environment with good communication.
• Must be 18+ and able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, package, and transport film safely in a manufacturing environment following established processes.
• Certify and learn job according to training documentation and certify to required level.
• Take directions from team leader and supervisor.
• Pull and locate products efficiently for upcoming transfers and shipments.
• Load and unload trailers if assigned as Warehouse operator.
• Read and process shipping documents.

Compensation

• $1.00/hr differential paid for night shifts.
• $1.50/hr differential paid for weekend shifts.

Job Responsibilities

• Wrap, package, and transport film safely in a manufacturing work environment following established processes and procedures.
• Certify and learn job according to training documentation and certify to required level.
• Take directions from team leader and supervisor.
• Pull and locate products efficiently and accurately for upcoming transfers and/or customer shipments.
• Load and unload trailers (if assigned as Warehouse operator)
• Read and process shipping documents.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED from a school accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or state/country of residence.
• Must be able to pass on-the-job training requirements which may include physical – lifting, pushing and pulling, computer-based safety training, and forklift training.
• Must be dependable and able to work in team-based environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills.
• Must be able to pass post-offer onboarding requirements which include: hair and urine drug screen, background check, pre-employment physical exams.
• Able to work 12 hour shifts.
• There are four shift models. You will be assigned a shift after completing the initial training: Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm, Monday-Thursday 7pm-7am, Friday-Sunday 7am-7pm, Friday-Sunday 7pm-7am.
• Must be able to legally work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
