Job summary

Rise Baking Company, LLC in Colton, CA is seeking a Packing Operator I for the 3rd shift to execute daily production schedules in the packing area and ensure products meet quality and safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and flexibility to cover nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

You will adhere to allergen control, participate in training, and contribute to a safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced food production

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute the daily production schedule in the packing area to meet customer orders.
• Ensure timely and accurate packaging of product to maintain processing standards.
• Adhere to the allergen control program guidelines, including equipment cleaning and verification activities.
• Take corrective action as assigned by the Supervisor based on pre-operation and daily self-assessment audit findings.
• Participate in investigating issues, finding root causes, and developing solutions for issues that arise in the packing area.
• Take actions necessary to resolve food safety and quality deficiencies.
• Maintain safe working conditions and preserve the integrity of the environmental health and safety system through adherence to the policies and procedures outlined in the safety program.
• Participate in mandatory training program requirements.
• Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

Execute production schedules at rated throughput in the packing area to meet quality, safety, cost, and delivery standards.

Essential Functions

• Execute the daily production schedule in the packing area to meet customer orders

California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Washington and New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $17.50 to $19.00 per hour. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
