Job summary

Ben E. Keith invites applications for a Packing Operator in our Southeast division. You will perform tasks in the packing department, including weighing, labeling, and preparing products for distributors, with emphasis on accuracy and sanitation.

Responsibilities include setting up packaging machines, weighing products, placing labels, boxing and palletizing for shipping, and maintaining a clean work area. Basic math skills and experience with MS Office and ERP systems are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Basic math skills required.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for packaging and adjust for each product.
• Weigh, label, box, and palletize products for shipping.
• Operate cubing equipment for meat products.
• Strip casings and prepare patties.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department.
• Verify correct label, weight, and date information.
• Receive incoming materials.
