Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to operate all pieces of equipment within the department.
• Follow all 1st piece inspection processes according to the inspection requirements.
• Work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
• Must have great people skills; Develop and maintain a good relationship with co-workers, internal and external suppliers, promoting a teamwork environment.
• Perform pre-startup inspections;
• Participate in ABS and support the ABS principles.
• Perform work on the computer daily, manage daily activities using Microsoft Office programs, have excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.);
• Possess good delegation skills;
• Reward and recognize good performance for the team;
• Write and train on department specific work instructions;
• Provide management with data when required for his/her areas of responsibility;
• Order supplies;
• Use JDE for routing, reporting, and problem resolution when errors occur;
• Excellent communication skills with Shop Floor employees, other Leads, and Managers;
• Excellent decision making and leadership skills.
