Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Material Handler - Packer/Blender Technician to support SBC packing and blending operations at the Pass Christian facility. The role requires attention to safety, accurate documentation, and the ability to operate packing and blending equipment in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 6 months in logistics, forklift training, and basic computer and English language skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution/manufacturing/relevant environment.
• Forklift training certification (where applicable).
• Basic computer skills are required for inventory and documentation.
• RF scanners and WMS systems knowledge helpful.
• English language skills for reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate SBC packing operations per established procedures and production requirements.
• Perform blending duties for Dry and Wet blend operations following area SOPs.
• Support Chemours bulk operations as needed.
• Inspect SBC bags for defects and ensure correct labeling and documentation.
• Maintain organized work area and comply with safety and housekeeping rules.
• Operate forklift and other power equipment with certification in a safe manner.
• Assist in inventory counts and sampling per schedule and SOPs.
• Report safety hazards and quality variances to supervision.
