Job summary

Calbee North America in Senatobia, MS is seeking a Packaging Operations Trainer to educate and certify packing teams. You will lead on-the-job training, reinforce standard work, and ensure products meet quality and labeling standards.

You will develop training materials, SOPs, and checklists, track staff qualifications, and partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Training teams to improve safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience training or certifying production staff.
• Knowledge of GMPs and food safety practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for training records.

Responsibilities

• Train employees on packing procedures, labeling, case packing, and palletizing.
• Develop and deliver SOPs, job instructions, checklists, and training materials.
• Certify packers to ensure competency across shifts.
• Support line start ups, changeovers, and daily packing operations.
• Monitor KPIs related to training effectiveness, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, HACCP, GMP, SQF and food safety rules.
