Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Machine Tender/Packers trainee to support the production team. You will assist in training, ensure quality packaging, and uphold safety practices on the line. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to ISO procedures to maintain world-class standards.

You will collaborate with Senior Operators, help with packaging materials, and contribute to data tracking and shift handoffs. Safety and quality are the priorities as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ISO processes is beneficial.
• Ability to lead and coach Packers; strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to quality and process adherence.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, quality, and attendance policies; lead by example.
• Perform quality checks and verify line orders and specs.
• Ensure correct product and packaging materials; conduct line audits.
• Provide training and feedback to Packers; support senior operators.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and proper packaging of finished goods.
