Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is hiring Packers and Quality Assurance Technicians for our High Street facility in Hanover, PA. This full-time position follows a weekend nightshift schedule (Friday through Sunday, 5:55 PM to 5:55 AM) with competitive pay and benefits in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting packaged items, ensuring weight accuracy, codes and seals, and reporting issues to prevent contamination.

Qualifications

• Learn routine QA testing and lab techniques to support production.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Work proactively in cross-functional teams and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Inspect packaged items and alert operators of defects.
• Check weight, codes, dates, and seals on packages.
• Report conditions that could contaminate products.
• Pack products into cartons and place on skids or conveyors.
• Prepare cans, labels, trays, and rework items for production.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work areas following GMP and OSHA.
• Back-up QA technician duties as needed.
