The City of Saginaw seeks a Packer Truck Operator to operate a packer truck for collecting yard waste, recyclables, and other materials, with seasonal duties such as street sweeping, snow removal, and salt application on icy roads. Shifts vary and overtime may be required on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and emergencies.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a valid Michigan CDL Class B (airbrakes) and experience in outdoor labor; knowledge of local streets is helpful; Saturday shifts

This role includes operating heavy equipment for seasonal tasks such as street sweeping, snow removal, and applying salt on icy roads. This position may work varied shifts; overtime on scheduled workdays, weekends, holidays, and in response to emergency situations.
