A leading staffing agency is seeking a Packer / Extrusion Helper for a night and day shift in Spartanburg, SC. Day Shift / 7am=7pm
$17 based on experience / shift

PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced Packer / Extrusion Helper on behalf of our client in Spartanburg, SC.

The Packer / Extrusion Helper - Removes extrudedblown film from the end of the line and starts a new roll to continue production without a slow down andefficiently as possible. Schedule is 36 hrs one week and 48 hrs the next.

The Packer / Extrusion Helper Responsibilities include:

• Remove up to 35 lb extruded film rolls as specified by the work order consistently
• Set up next roll properly quickly and efficiently
• Assist extruder operator as needed
• Pack rolls in boxes and palletize
• Stage pallets using a pallet jack
• Maintain & document film quality
• Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift. Equipment must be properly cleaned every shift

The Packer / Extrusion Helper Qualifications include:

• 1 year or moreextrusion packing or related experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to operate a pallet jack
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability – timeliness & attendance are critical
