Job summary

Second Nature Brands is hiring a candy packer to join its supply chain team during a period of growth. This entry-level role is based at Sanders Chocolate Factory in Clinton Township, MI, with Sunday-Thursday night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM and overtime as needed.

The starting rate is $15.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium, with full benefits and 40 hours per week. Previous manufacturing experience is required, and duties include packing, labeling, quality checks, and maintaining a

Second Nature Brands is on a mission to grow from $500M to $1B over the next 2 years through an aggressive combination of M&A and organic growth. We have an opening for a Candy Packer position, who will be an important member of the supply chain team during this growth.

As a candy Packer production team member, you will pack our famous products in various packaging. This is an entry-level position. To be successful, you must have the ability to stay at pace with the line and perform repetitive tasks.

This position will be based out Sanders Chocolate Factory 23770 Hall Road in Clinton Township, MI 48036

Regular working hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11pm - 7:30am, with weekday or weekend overtime as needed. The starting rate is $15.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include

• Pack our famous products in various packaging
• Ensure code date is properly placed and legible
• Check for any compromises to packaging
• Ensure each box have correct number of packaging
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Standing for 8-10 hours;
• Walking up and down stairs;
• Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently;

• Wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by company.
