Job summary

Intex is seeking a manufacturing team member for the midnight shift (11pm-7am), Sunday through Friday with overtime and Saturdays required. The role involves reviewing work orders, completing tasks, inspecting extrusion products for quality (length, surface, dents), bundling items, and signing off on completed orders.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing facility experience, proficiency with tape measures, reliable transportation, and a strong attendance record.

Qualifications

• Working experience in a Manufacturing facility.
• Must possess good measuring skills with a tape measure.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed.
• Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review work order instructions.
• Complete Work Orders assigned.
• Review, verify, and sign the completion of work order.
• Bundle products following packing instructions from the work order.
• Review the quality of extrusion products (i.e.: length, surface, dents, defects, etc.) reporting any discrepancies.
• Position may require sitting, walking, standing, bending, stretching, kneeling, reaching (including over the head), lifting, and other movements for long periods of time.
• Attend and complete any Company trainings, as assigned.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by department manager/supervisor.

Overtime & Saturdays are required.

• Review work order instructions.
• Complete Work Orders assigned.
• Review the quality of extrusion products (i.e.: length, surface, dents, defects, etc.) reporting any discrepancies.
• Bundle products following packing instructions from the work order.
• Review, verify, and sign the completion of work order.
• Various plant floor housekeeping, as needed.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by department manager/supervisor.
• Position may require sitting, walking, standing, bending, stretching, kneeling, reaching (including over the head), lifting, and other movements (not specified) for long periods of time
• Attend and complete any Company or outsourced trainings, as assigned
• Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
• Must wear PPE required for this position (i.e: safety glasses, steel toe, ear plugs, gloves, etc.).

This position requires punctuality and excellent attendance, with the physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive sitting, standing/walking, extensive bending/kneeling/squatting, continuous lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, daily inspection of operating equipment and extreme temperatures.

• Various Measuring tools (i.e: square, tape measure, etc.)
