Job summary

International Extrusions Inc. in Livonia, MI is seeking a Packer for the day shift (5am–3pm, Mon–Fri) and Saturday (5am–1pm) to join our manufacturing team.

This role requires punctual attendance and the ability to perform duties on a value-driven production line. You will review work orders, complete assigned tasks, inspect extrusion quality, bundle products per packing instructions, verify and sign off on completed orders, and assist with general plant housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing facility is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic required.
• Willing to commute to multiple company facilities as needed.
• Work authorization in the US without sponsorship must be held.

Responsibilities

• Review work order instructions.
• Complete work orders assigned.
• Review the quality of extrusion products (length, surface, dents, defects, etc.) and report discrepancies.
• Bundle products following packing instructions from the work order.
• Review, verify, and sign the completion of work orders.
• Assist with various plant floor housekeeping tasks as needed.

• Review the quality of extrusion products (i.e.: length, surface, dents, defects, etc.) reporting any discrepancies.
• Bundle products following packing instructions from the work order.
• Review, verify, and sign the completion of work order.
• Various plant floor housekeeping, as needed.

This position requires punctuality and excellent attendance, with the physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive sitting, standing/walking, extensive bending/kneeling/squatting, continuous lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, daily inspection of operating equipment and extreme temperatures.
