Qualifications

• Basic math skills to record accurate reports.
• Must be able to read customer specification sheets to verify and ensure product quality.
• Adequate for legible and accurate recording of production reports and other pertinent information.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds for a short distance.
• Must be able to stand 8–12 hours and work in hot/cold environments.
• Must be able to pass color vision tests and work in loud environments.

Responsibilities

• Check product for seal strength, size, scoring, lip, print quality/location as specified, at least four times per hour and with each roll change.
• Make minor machine adjustments (reset eye, adjust seal bar, clear jams).
• Assemble makeup cartons as needed and observe rolls for splices.
• Record accurate production data including counts, downtime, scrap, rolls run, and complete dockets.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation in line with safety policies.
• Move packed boxes (10–40 lbs.) to pallets and label products.
• Apply inspection stamps to cartons and ensure correct headers/seals.
• Observe company work rules and safety regulations and perform general housekeeping.

Job description

Revolution is now hiring for Packer Inspector roles in Kilgore, TX. We have openings on the 7:00 am - 3:00 pm shift 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm shift and the 11:00 pm - 7:00 am shift.
This role will be responsible for learning the basic operations of production department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products in an industrial organization.

• Follow all Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Check the product for seal strength, size, scoring, lip, print quality/location, and others specified on the job specification, no less than four times an hour, and every roll change.
• Make minor machine adjustments, such as resetting the eye, putting flip back in, raising and cleaning the seal bar, and clearing jams from the machine.
• Makeup cartons as needed.
• Observe rolls for splices and changes.
• Record accurate production records, including count, downtime, scrap, number of rolls run, and complete dockets.
• Maintain a clean and neat workstation at all times, following American Institute of Baking requirements.
• Perform other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Retain and label samples as required.
• Pack product neatly and label appropriately.
• Make headers and/or saddle seals on the product.
• Observe Company work rules and safety regulations.
• Operate punch press.
• Apply inspection stamp to all cartons of product.
• Move packed boxes (10-40 lbs.) to pallets.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports.
• Must be able to read customer specification sheets to verify and ensure the quality of the product.
• Adequate for legible and accurate recording of production reports and other pertinent information.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a short distance.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, walk, have full dexterity, and have a correctable vision.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold weather.
• Must be able to handle loud noises.Be able to pass color blindness test. Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours
