Job summary

Amcor in Monroe, LA, is seeking a Packaging Operator to safely pack quality products on our manufacturing lines. You will follow safety, GMP and ISO policies, perform quality checks, and help ensure correct labeling and box assembly.

The role requires ability to read and follow travelers and BOMs, operate box erectors and label applicators, and pass electric pallet jack certification. Teamwork and basic PC skills are helpful.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, preferred.
• Experience in a team-work oriented environment a plus.
• Working knowledge of extrusion/converting equipment and process desired.
• Ability to use and read a ruler.
• Ability to read and understand a traveler.
• Ability to document quality and weight on bag check sheets.

Responsibilities

• Follow and support all Company safety, GMP and ISO policies.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies.
• Perform required quality checks and understand the quality standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Read Traveler BOM and check special instructions.
• Must pass electric pallet jack certification.
• Work on lines and packing areas as described in the posting.
