Job summary

ABB Fort Smith, AR seeks a Production Supervisor on the 2nd shift to lead a team in producing quality motors safely and efficiently, following work instructions and specs.

You will operate equipment as needed, train teammates, coordinate with other departments, and uphold a strong safety culture. The role requires HS diploma, 6 months experience, ability to pass background/drug test, and willingness to work overtime. Onsite role.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months of industrial or military experience, or vocational/technical education.
• Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization.
• Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Regular attendance and availability for overtime are essential job functions.

• Production & Quality: Work as part of a team to efficiently produce quality products in required quantities by following all shop floor displays, manufacturing instructions, and specifications.
• Equipment & Material Handling: Operate forklifts, hoists, air manipulators, robot wrappers, and hand scanners to lift, palletize, wrap, and load motors for shipment.
• Teamwork & Communication: Train and support other associates, cross-train as needed, communicate issues with supervisors and coworkers, and assist other department functions.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a strong safety-first mindset, follow all safety guidelines, report safety concerns, complete daily housekeeping, and work overtime as required.
