Title: Packer B
Position Objective:

Pack in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing return on investment
  • Knowledge of machinery used in production; must adhere to all safety procedures
  • Ability to read and understand work-related documents
  • Dependable attendance and flexibility to work non-standard hours
  • Ability to manage job-related stress and foster positive workplace interactions
Job Responsibilities:
  • Read production sheets to ensure proper specifications
  • Prepare packaging, including labeling and pallet building
  • Inspect products, document findings, and report concerns
  • Package finished products neatly in boxes or bulk
  • Weigh finished cases and record weights accurately
  • Maintain pace with production goals and line speed
  • Keep finished products organized and stacked neatly
  • Complete all required paperwork
  • Assist coworkers as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work Environment Conditions:
  • Manufacturing setting
  • Temperature variations (cold and hot)
  • Loud noise levels
