TITLE: Packer B
POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Pack in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining the highest quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and techniques to maximize return on investment
  • Knowledge of machines used in the production process, with adherence to all safety operations
  • Ability to read and understand work-related documents
  • Dependable attendance and flexibility to accommodate non-standard work hours
  • Ability to manage job-related stress and maintain productive workplace interactions
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Read production sheets to ensure proper specifications for products being produced and packed
  2. Prepare packaging for finished products by labeling and building pallets
  3. Inspect products, document inspections, and report concerns promptly
  4. Remove finished products from the production line and package them neatly
  5. Weigh finished cases and record weights within control limits
  6. Maintain pace with production processes and daily goals
  7. Keep production lines and finished products organized and stacked neatly
  8. Complete all required paperwork accurately
  9. Assist co-workers when needed
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS:
  • Manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
