Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Ohio is seeking a Packer to inspect and package plastic products ensuring quality and readiness for shipment. You will work on the production line, handle packing materials, label packages correctly, and help maintain a clean, safe work area.

This full-time direct-hire role offers growth potential, great benefits, and a collaborative team environment. Previous packaging/manufacturing experience and a keen eye for detail are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing/packaging role preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.
